FROM LISBON: Take the A1 to the exit for the A23 towards Abrantes/Castelo Branco/Torres Novas. Take exit 33 towards Belmonte/Manteigas, taking the EN18 next to the Galp pumps. At the traffic circle, take the 2nd exit towards the EN232. At the traffic circle, just before reaching Manteigas, take the 2nd exit. Cross the River Zêzere and turn right onto the Leandres road. At the next junction turn left onto the Lapa road and the restaurant is on the left.
FROM PORTO: Take the A1. Take exit 16 onto the A25 towards Viseu. Take exit 22 towards Mangualde. Cross Mangualde and follow the EN232, also passing through Gouveia, up the mountain and turn right onto the São Sebastião forest road (buses and trucks go straight on). When you enter Manteigas, turn right until you come to the chapel of Srª dos Verdes. Turn left, cross the river Zêzere, take the Lapa road and the restaurant is on the left.
